Relevant notes taken form the Cartoon which have influenced my designs:
-Bagera the Panther finds a baby in the jungle and leaves it for wolves. The mother fortunately just gave birth to cubs and her maternal instinct allowed her to nurture the new born
-A child who has been raised by wild animals
-Throughout the movie the boy is learning the necessary traits to survive and camouflage into the jungle. It outlines the growth and learning process, improving his dexterity throughout.
--Birds of death- vulchers, usually seen in scenes of death. "Nobody wants us around either" when the tiger shows the birds are onlookers- suggesting there could be a death.
-
Relevant notes taken form the film which have influenced my designs:
-Mowgli delivers an exceptional understanding of the jungle and refers to himself as 'half of a tiger'. Intelligently naming different species whilst holding a wolf cub.
-Mowgli is extremely agile like an animal and yet displays an enthusiasm to learn. His skin has became tolerant to harsh surroundings.
-Instinctive behaviours? Two males fighting for one woman, one mate. Common link. Message to protect our natural habitat and abide jungle laws
-The boys clothes are indecent for civilisation and portray a wild aesthetic. His hair is unkept and doesnt change throughout. This is captured continuously at different points and close camera footage emphasise the point.
